NEW BILL PAYMENT OPTIONS AVAILABLE

New Bill Payment Options Available
We are pleased to announce that customers can now pay their bill online with a debit/credit card or by e-check by visiting our website at www.athensil.com, or by calling 217-636-8429 and selecting Option #1 to make a payment.
To use the online or phone payment system, customers will need their new account number.
You can obtain your new account number in one of the following ways:
- Call the office at 217-636-8429, and staff will assist you, or
- Convert your old account number using the following method.
How to convert your old account number:
- Take your old account number.
- Drop the first zero.
- Add two zeros at the end.
Example:
Old Account Number: 01-23456-00
New Account Number: 1234560000
Customers who are currently signed up to have their bill automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account do not need to take any action.
Customers may also continue to pay by check or cash at City Hall or at Alliance Community Bank – Athens Branch only.
