Old West Cemetery Bench Dedication

On Sunday, November 9, 2025, a special dedication ceremony was held at Old West Cemetery in Athens to honor Aldermen Larry Buhr and Ron Canterbury with newly placed benches.
These benches serve as a lasting tribute to two individuals who dedicated their time, care, and commitment not only to the West Cemetery, but to the Athens community. Their contributions and friendship have left a lasting mark on our town, and this memorial offers a peaceful place for reflection and remembrance.
